My laptop’s days are numbered. I’ve had it for a solid 4 years and only now is it acting up. It was my first Mac and difficult to part with. I’m in fairly desperate need for a new one and want another Mac… it’s sitting in my Apple shopping cart, but I’m having so much trouble hitting the purchase button. It will be nearly $2,700! That’s a lot of traveling that could be done. Ugh.
Second attempt went fine… I made it to Berlin. It was nice visiting some med school friends and exploring the city at the same time. One disappointment: the museums close on Mondays! So I missed the Gerard Richter exhibit that I was hoping to catch while they went into the wards this morning. However, I looked it up and think that I will be able to catch the same exhibit in Paris from June-September. It’s pretty easy to get from London to Paris by train, so I think it will be a good excuse to go.

No one knows for certain how much impact they have on the lives of other people.
